Description
The painting was done during the COVID-19 quarantine of 2020. As a small child I spent many hours with my father in his Iris garden. Cross pollinating flowers, weeding, and generally just being with him when he, a traveling salesman, was home on the weekends. These Iris grow in my own garden now and are descendants from the same bulbs as those we tended so many years ago. Happy memories for me each year.
