Description
We were looking for a little hill town in Italy. We would see them way off to the left or right along the highway. We marveled at the angular village perched on the mountain and had to go and stay there. This is the old town of Montecatini Alto. It is on a hill overlooking the modern town of Montecatini Terme and is reachable only by funicular.
